I am Nelle Weaver, a Certified Health and Lifestyle Coach. I have spent thousands of hours in the kitchen learning, experimenting, and getting super curious about food and health. What have I discovered?

It’s my goal to share my recipes, secrets, and tips with you as I teach you to cook with confidence. I will show you how to create healthy meals your family will love (and eat). Spend less time in the kitchen creating simple, delicious, nourishing meals that make you feel amazing.

Sometimes we don’t know what to do to change our habits, but more often it’s that we’re stuck in a rut and don’t know how to get out of it. 95% of behavior occurs out of habit, either unconsciously or in reaction to external demands.

I’m a Paleo food and lifestyle blogger at FarmgirlPaleo.com. My husband and I write about our simple life, including gardening, canning, dehydrating, fermenting, and other homesteading skills on my website MamasHomestead.com.

When I’m not writing and creating tasty recipes in the kitchen (and teaching others to do the same), I enjoy spending time with my family backpacking, hiking, and camping. I also love to express my creativity. Sewing, quilting, photography, homeschooling my two youngest children and many other outlets take up my extra time.

  • Simple Paleo Waffles are just that. Simple. I make them the evening before and warm them in the waffle iron in the morning for a quick Paleo breakfast. 😋 They are great freshly made or reheated. Throw some in the freezer for later!

  • These Paleo Egyptian Shish Kabobs are made with a simple marinade that has my mouth watering. 😋 Usually lamb is used for shish kabobs, but I used chicken and beef here. You can use chicken, beef, lamb, or a combination of all three. 🍖 Also, add your favorite vegetables. I used peppers and onions. 
As a part of this recipe, I created my Egyptian Spice Mix. Use it in this marinade or sprinkle it over meat and vegetables to create other tasty dishes. 🍽
