How to create a Recipe Binder full of tried and true recipes, tips, tricks, and tools that make planning your family menu a breeze.

How to use your Recipe Binder as a tool to choose delicious, simple, nourishing recipes to put on your weekly menu for your family. Then find out what to do when things don’t go as planned.

…And here’s a little bit about me

Hello! My name is Nelle Weaver. I’m a Certified Health and Lifestyle Coach and a Paleo food and lifestyle blogger at FarmgirlPaleo.com. My husband and I write about our simple life, including gardening, canning, dehydrating, fermenting, and other homesteading skills on my website MamasHomestead.com.

When I’m not writing and creating tasty recipes in the kitchen (and teaching others to do the same), I enjoy spending time with my family backpacking, hiking, and camping. I also love to express my creativity. Sewing, quilting, photography, homeschooling my two youngest children, and many other outlets take up my extra time.

  • Paleo Sweet Potato Sausage Soup is a tasty addition to a chilly fall or winter day. It’s quick to cook, it has just the right amount of spice to warm you up, and it’s garnished with bacon! This soup is perfect cold weather food or a delicious weeknight dinner. It’s loaded with nutritious ingredients and intense flavor made all in one pan.
Check out this recipe on farmgirlpaleo.com.
  • Yummy Paleo Gumbo made by my daughter. I love okra and this is a great way to use it... to thicken soup. 😋

This one has been added to my favorite soup list. 🍲 It's a long list. 😉

What's your favorite soup to enjoy on a chilly winter evening?

  • Simple Paleo Waffles are just that. Simple. I make them the evening before and warm them in the waffle iron in the morning for a quick Paleo breakfast. 😋 They are great freshly made or reheated. Throw some in the freezer for later!
Top with maple syrup or choose from some of my favorite waffle toppings on my post. Recipe available on FarmgirlPaleo.com.

  • It's a perfect evening to cozy up with a bowl of my Spiced Winter Squash Soup. 🍲 The combination of flavors is incredible. Winter squash is sweet and delicious. My two favorite (and the ones I used on this recipe) are acorn and butternut. 🥜
With the addition of a bit of your favorite curry powder, this soup will warm you up quick. It's gluten free, grain free, and dairy free.

  • These Paleo Egyptian Shish Kabobs are made with a simple marinade that has my mouth watering. 😋 Usually lamb is used for shish kabobs, but I used chicken and beef here. You can use chicken, beef, lamb, or a combination of all three. 🍖 Also, add your favorite vegetables. I used peppers and onions.
As a part of this recipe, I created my Egyptian Spice Mix. Use it in this marinade or sprinkle it over meat and vegetables to create other tasty dishes. 🍽

Paleo Maple Balsamic-glazed Pork Chops. So tasty and super simple to make. They're pan-seared and oven roasted in a cast iron skillet. This recipe has a great flavor combination that pairs well with nearly any vegetable side.
