We will start in the kitchen and go over some basic grocery planning techniques, make a grocery list that matches up to your favorite grocery store to keep shopping simple and convenient, and then head to the store.
Next, I will show you how to choose delicious, nourishing foods from your local grocery store, farmer’s market, or even your own garden to create delicious home-cooked meals.
You will learn how to select the best choices in all departments of the store. Plus, explore which foods you can get fresh from other places, such as farmer’s markets or local farmers.
Find out which foods to buy organic and how to read food labels and nutrition facts.
Learn how to choose quick snacks and select healthy options from a restaurant menu or convenience store that are both filling and healthy.
Learn how to stock your pantry and refrigerator with items that will enhance your cooking endeavors and make your life easier while putting healthy foods on your family’s table.

The Nourishing Farmgirl offers Classes to people who live in the Columbus, Ohio area.
This class is created for one to a maximum of six students. The cost is $60 for one or $50 for two more. This class lasts about two hours.
